MUSC Hollings Cup Regatta

This September, Hollings, along with the Charleston Ocean Racing Association, will host the MUSC Hollings Cup Regatta in Charleston Harbor to raise funds for lifesaving cancer research happening here at MUSC, benefiting cancer patients throughout South Carolina.

About the event
MUSC Hollings Cup Regatta, Saturday, September 12, 2026
Spirit of South Carolina will serve as committee vessel for the fifth annual MUSC Hollings Cup Regatta, at the invitation of the MUSC Hollings Race Committee, the Charleston Ocean Racing Association, and the Carolina Yacht Club.
The regatta funds cancer research and patient care at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, which treats patients from every county in South Carolina. That work is the reason the fleet turns out each September, and it is the reason Spirit answered the invitation.
Spirit of South Carolina is raising $30,000 for Hollings this year.
