MUSC-Hollings Cup Regatta

Spirit of South Carolina will serve as committee vessel for the fifth annual MUSC Hollings Cup Regatta, at the invitation of the MUSC Hollings Race Committee, the Charleston Ocean Racing Association, and the Carolina Yacht Club. The regatta raises money for cancer research and patient care at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated cancer center in South Carolina.

September 10 and 11

Spirit lies alongside at the Carolina Yacht Club, open for tours to CYC members and their guests.

September 12, morning

Guests board for a harbor sail before the start, then return to the CYC dock ahead of race setup. Guests who wish to stay aboard may remain for the regatta and watch the fleet from the committee vessel. Spirit carries air-conditioned space below deck. Guests are welcome to bring a small cooler with beverages but please, no glass.
