The Spirit of South Carolina up and running, fall sailing programs on tap

The Spirit of South Carolina sets sail Thursday, fully certified and ready to carry paying passengers for the first time in years.

The Lowcountry’s own tall ship is headed to New England to ride out the hurricane season and drum up off-season business while it’s there. It’s now scheduled to sail home and start up here in October.
